100 P&T/ Ree Medical/ Denied C&P Exam
Posted on
I think this post is going to be very valuable for everyone.
The timeline I’ll comment underneath.
I used Ree Medical in February 22, the process to my DBQ’s took about 6 months. Migraines and Lumbar Radiculopathy. DBQ’s were dated and signed by a Doc after eval on Aug 11, 22.
On Sep 14, had a VA annual checkup. The doc asked about my migraines and I answered truthfully that I did not have a migraine that month…the doctor wrote it as “no migraines”.
I submitted my claim Oct 19th. Fully developed.
End of January 23, I get a request for a C&P after being in prep for decision for months. It was due to “conflicting evidence” from the annual eval that didn’t nearly paint the entire picture. It was bs. I called Ree Medical; they said “DO NOT GO TO THE C&P” and gave me a letter signed by lawyers to submit.
There were many good intentioned individuals on Reddit who advised me to not listen and go to the C&P.
I denied C&P, VA said it would negatively effect me.
I woke up today, 100% P&T from 90. What I’m getting at is, every situation is different. The majority isn’t always right. Even though they’re good intentioned.
