Hello everyone! I haven’t seen one of these done in a while, and I enjoy nothing more than trying to provide clarity to what it’s like to be an OSI agent in the Department of the Air Force. As agents, we constantly battle the stigmas placed upon the career, as well as simply a lack of understanding of what we really do.

I am not a recruiter, I am not the most experienced agent there ever was, but my goal has always been to leave my work better than I found it, and I always seek to restore the positive image that OSI can have, while supporting its customer(s).

I will try to get to whatever questions are posted (if any), but I want to emphasize I will not answer anything that has the potential to violate ordinary operations security.

Please ask away, I will do my best to answer, and if you have particular questions about the process for OSI or interest in applying, I would urge you to speak with your local detachment or the OSI Recruitment Team.
