I was still new to the Army when SMA Grinston took over. From what I remember there was a lot of criticism (don’t remember much specifics- I was too busy with E3 Latinas and cars I couldn’t afford)

He turned out to be one of the better SMA in the end. Will the same be said for SMA Weimar?

Critiques of him regarding communication among the force and the memes that followed stick out in my mind and while warranted- he’s only been in the seat as of very recently.

I’m sure I know the answer to this, but for the guys that have been around the block a few times ahead of me- is this normal? Does the Army just collectively hate change until we all accept it?

Or, have you seen SMAs that were criticized by the force throughout their entire term?
