After reading the overwhelming amount of comments about me needing to shave, I said my goodbyes to my family to go and buy a razor. Despite my wife’s cries, I told her “WW2 was won with haircuts and a fresh shave”, and I drove away. About an hour and a half into my drive, my car stopped working. I’m going to assume it’s due to contaminated fuel.

I am now sitting on the shoulder of I-4, and I’m trembling in fear at the notion of someone pulling my lifeless body out of my flooded car and noticing my 5 o’clock shadow. Thank you to everyone for your advice, but unfortunately I am still an undisciplined (but you could’ve assumed that based off my stubble) soldier.
