Guarantee the JM shortage would go away and people would be much more motivated to be a JM if it was double the jump pay.

Why would I want to be a Jumpmaster? More responsibility and putting your whole ass on the line if something goes wrong and for what? Oh, at least I get to don my parachute later on than everybody else. Big whoop.

If you’re a JM, first off thank you, genuinely, for all that you do because you are the reason we do what we do safely (well, for the most part). If you took the role because you actually care about the paras and/or just enjoy anything Airborne, that’s freaking awesome then. You deserve extra monies for undertaking such an incredibly important role.
