Reserve Unit went to AT, and I was not going, so I let a newly in-processed soldier borrow an item they didn’t get issued. Sub-Hand receipted and everything.

Soldier comes back from AT, without the item, stating “they returned it at AT.” but none of the NCO’s are tracking it being returned.

Supply also says it wasn’t returned to the unit, and they’ll “look into it.” It’s been 5 months so far and i’ve heard nothing. Soldier also hasn’t been to drill since and now I’m out an ACH.

Im supposed to be going to BLC in December.

Should I just take the L and buy an ACH from a surplus store, or what?

edit: i’m getting out of this unit soon anyway. so idk if I should even make a big deal of it.
