Is there any way I can take UCMJ/Legal action against a SM that knowingly gave me a herpes? Long story short, I was dumb and I stuck my dick in the barracks bunny. Yes, I wore protection, and yes I had asked her if she had any sexually transmitted infections beforehand. She had told me no, that she did not. When we were doing the deed, I didn’t see any signs of herpes. But here we are, about 2 weeks after the deed I’m breaking out. Go to the clinic and our doc confirms what I feared. I hit her up and she admits to having herpes but not telling me because she “didn’t want to scare me away.” I have screenshots of the text messages. I’m beyond pissed. Can I take legal action against her? This is seriously fucked.
