BLUF: girlfriend and I have been dating for 3 years. We are now long distance She is in her last year of bachelors degree but may do a masters. I’m 3 months into BOLC. I’ll be headed to my first duty station next summer. How does one possibly go from long distance to married in the army? She doesn’t just want to be married in the courthouse. She wants a wedding. How do you plan a wedding a year out without knowing where you’ll be, what you’ll be doing, training calander, deployments etc…?
