So I PCS'd to Fort BLiss and have been trying to get on-post housing, I knew I was coming here since December of last year but refused to put me onto a housing "waiting list" since I didn'tw have orders, I ended up getting my orders the middle of april with a report date of early May, I arrive here and housing says its a 5 month wait.

I am like WTF since I was told I was like number 43 or 44 and at the office they are saying I have 300 people in front of me to get a house! but when I drove around post to the "neighborhoods I qualify for in my rank" there is quite a bit of housing just vacant!

in my 10+ years in the army I never delt with this bs! anyone else had anyone else had this issue with them? and before anyone ask I have reasons why I need to be on post housing.

Ill have a Daily Double sandwich only since I never eat the fries with an Orange fanta please!
