Army really is the best ever
Posted on
After reading the last chaps story and people said yall need more good (postive) stories. I came from methed out parents who only taught me to lie, cheat, steal, and do hard drugs. Taken away by CPS at 9, foster care for 2 years, then in/out of grand ma's/friends couch surfing tell I turned 16 and got emancipated. I did well in HS but couldnt really afford life after because I simply had no work ethic. After flunky out of community college a year later, I signed up as a 92g cause I needed to ship asap (damn near homeless). Because of the Army I have 3 fancy pieces of paper, a career with great benifits, and the biggest family I could ever ask for. Theres been time and time again my good ol' military training has set me straight and gave me what I needed to never give up, weather the storm, and turn goat piss into gold. I know theres a lot of shit in the Army you got to deal with but its all worth it in the end as it builds character and confidence. Remebering Afghanistan does hurt sometimes but I feel l learned some of the most important life lessons there back in 2012 that I know I need for the rest of my life and would not have found them any where else. So thanks Army you truly are the best.
Can I get a double double animal style and chocolate shake on the half shell please..
