So,here is my situation: I am an 11B,SPC,thinking about reclassing to 35P. I speak two other languages,which are native to me(i was raised abroad) - Russian and Uzbek. Tired of wasting my language and cultural skills,so decided to reclass.My original ETS date is September 2026,but again,i want to reclass. Already read a lot of reddit posts about how 35P is a “dead end MOS” and etc. On the other hand a lot of good NCO’s that i know tell me to switch to 35P asap,especially of what’s going on in the world and the fact that russian is my native language. My NCO’s tell me that I’m going to be doing great stuff because of my skills. Taken my DLPT(which i feel is unnecessary since I’m a native speaker but whatever).Got 3 and 2+ What should i do in terms of: 1)Futurewise - I wanna work on some federal job hoping that army time as 35P will look on my resume 2)Unit and experience.I hate my current unit(thanks Fort Carson).

Also read some stuff on SOT-A,but still a lot of views vary on this. If there’s anyone here 35P with russian language as a primary one - please respond,i would like to hear your side especially.

EDIT: i was born in US,raised abroad(don’t ask why).The only parent i have works for State Department.So i guess there might be some difficulties with getting Top Secret.
