Now with Erdogan sliding to Russia and the whole F35 fiasco a lot of people have been talking about the removal of Turkey from NATO. In my opinion Erdogan is a very bad ally that cannot be properly trusted and is slowly sliding to Russia due to the Syrian civil war. On the other hand the Bosporus a very important part of landlocking Russia and Turkey surprisingly has a very large powerful and combat ready army, with a very high operational readiness compared to nearly all Western European country. Also it appears that Erdogan is losing power in Turkey, apparently losing important cities, showing that maybe the old Turkey might return. What are your opinions on Turkeys importance and feasibility in NATO?
