As the title sugests, I 24M am a PhD student in International Relations. Should I take my last chance to enlist in the Air Force (Portugal), as this is the last year I can enlist before I get too old, taking the E5 rank as a starter and then applying for an ROTC-like program and joining the Officer cadre OR rather apply for a 6-year long direct commission in the Army?
