I’m 18 and finishing my senior year in high school, I plan on joining either the USMC(1st pick) or the Army. In the past I dealt with depression due to school and an extremely toxic relationship. I was on meds for awhile and had self harmed a lot(dumb). That was around 4 years ago but I’m worried they’ll say I can’t join because of it. I never actually took the medicine I was given and was officially removed from it over or around 2 years ago. I haven’t dealt with depression or self harm for years now. How likely am I to get a waiver? Any information helps, I’ve sorta planned my whole future around the military so it’s really important to me.
