Kind of a weird specific question. I’m a senior in high school and I’m thinking about enlisting into Army to go into a military police position. I have a GPA of 3.7 and taking AP courses such as psychology, business law, physiology/anatomy, etc. I am interested in the law enforcement field (thinking of doing federal/administrative work).

I’m also a volunteer police cadet for my local police department, and been doing it for 5 years. Currently I’m in an administrative position, supervising other cadets due to my seniority, and also lead our bicycle patrol unit. I’ve done firearms training, trauma/bleeding classes, building clearing instructing, etc. I like doing community relations work and interacting with the public.

I’ve seen videos and some articles of the military police having bicycle patrols at bases overseas and domestic. Are they still active and how likely/qualified would I be to get in one of these?
