So I was listening to a video on the adoption of the M27 by the Marines and looked at the comments section and saw someone mention the old Ares 16 that was toted as a compromise between the m4 and the m249. He mentioned that they should have adopted the Ares 16. I have my own feelings on this, but I want to know what you guys think? Is the Ares 16 better than the m27?
