Am I able to pass SFAS with an academic focusing problem?
Posted on
I'm thinking about advancing my career into SF but my biggest concern is the ability to focus in an academic environment.
I have a 127 GT score but those were under easy conditions. I know SF doesnt play around and likes the smartest in the most stressful situations. I know I can achieve many things in a classroom but my ability to focus has been a huge obstacle for most of my life.
However, when I'm working with my hands. I can achieve absolute focus and it almost seems like my ability to focus is like a laser.
But when I'm sitting behind a desk for hours, that's when I'm at my biggest disadvantage. So I'm wondering if this will hinder my chances on passing SFAS and my Q course?
