You like me your sweaty ball-sack mofos really like me!!!!! Well here is another… I wrote this first to a response to a YT video (double check the name if you think I stole it) I saw about chock blocks and dip pans; got triggered when remembered this happening in Germany;

I had such a stupid CSM…well the second of a few to be honest… this one held a formation in the field after a vehicle March/movement to yell at us saying someone messed up parking their truck. He had us go check the vehicles… we go check, come back he gets even more pissed and says we ‘better find it and fix it!’ We re-check and somehow failed again….

He finally says: Who has A-1-10 (“Alpha One Dash Ten”) Because someone didn’t put their chock block down in front of their HMWV/HumVe on the TC (front passenger) side!

It’s MY truck… I’m thinking…’wait..is he for real?!?!’

Me: SERGEANT MAJOR, that’s MY truck…

CSM cutting me off: Don’t you know how to follow instructions GUY?!? ITS SIMPLE!!! I THOUGHT YOU ARE A SMART ONE!!!

ME: The chock block is….

CSM: IN THE WRONG PLACE SOLDIER, THATS HOW SOLDIERS GET KILLED!!! FIX IT!!!

PISSED OFF and EMBARRASSED, with my Platoon Sgt is glaring at me; I turn towards the truck yelling and using knife hands: THIS MOTHER FUCKER IS SO STUPID, IM PARKED FACING UP A HILL!!

My platoon leader comes running and over says something I don’t remember (but I remember NOT liking).

Me: THE PONT OF A CHOCK BLOCK IS TO KEEP THE VEHICLE FROM ROLLING DOWN AN INCLINE SIR! HE WANTS ME TO PUT IT IN FRONT OF THE TIRE AS FUCKING DECORATION!?! FUCK THAT CLOWN!! I’ll PARK SOMEWHERE ELSE SINCE ITS FORM OVER FUNCTIONALITY!!!

I was in hot water with a bunch of higher ups during that field rotation, but I refused to be compliant in this jackassery. My section leader ended up moving it, because I sure-as-shit wasn’t. I didn’t face an Article 15/NJP when we got back (but believe me they tried) because for One: I had been punished in the field already (double jeopardy y’all). Two they would have looked mighty stupid for punishing a soldier for doing the right thing, all for putting a chock block where it’s actually supposed to go to do its job.

Yes they could have nailed me for disrespect which even I would have to agree with, but I was going to demand TBCM (in this unit it was a KNOWN acronym)/Trial By Courts Martial and I know that would have flown like a lead zeppelin because of the two points in the last paragraph. my slate was not clean for a good while but I kept my head high; AKA FuckTheHaters
