Streit Group has entered a strategic partnership with Sand-X Motors to produce an armoured version of the Sand-X T-ATV 1200 all-terrain vehicle, the company has announced.

The armoured version will be developed in the UAE. The partnership also covers the distribution of the T-ATV 1200 across Africa and the Middle East. Streit Group will offer a B6 level armoured T-ATV 1200 upgraded at its UAE production facility, along with an unarmoured version.

The T-ATV 1200 by SAND-X MOTORS – used by security forces around the globe – is the perfect vehicle for military and civil operations and probably the only REAL All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) worldwide. This very stable and safe land system, engineered in Switzerland, is designed to conquer the roughest terrains and extreme climatic environments (from -50°C to +60°C).

The T-ATV 1200 can be operated on all terrains including the safe operation on sand, snow, roads, rocky terrains and many other most difficult surfaces. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds and can reach a top speed of 185 km/h combined with a class of its own payload and fuel range.
