Participants of the “Clear sky” international contest eliminated simulated illegal armed groups.
According to the scenario of the contest, 14 32-man strong sabotage groups of the simulated enemy landed on the shore in order to capture antiaircraft systems and Igla portable air defence complexes.
Drivers of KAMAZ, BTR-80 APCs, Chinese ZSL-92 armored vehicles, and Shaanxi SX2150 heavy trucks are practicing overcoming ford, slopes, S-turns, and other obstacles.
Teams of China, Venezuela, Egypt, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Serbia and Russia are training at the Yeysky range (Krasnodar Krai).
Air defence units fired more than 2,200 munitions, including guided missiles, high-explosive fragmentation trace and armor-piercing trace rounds, and engaged about 350 targets.
In total 70 military men participated in the contest.
