In 2011, doctors diagnosed Vietnam veteran Douglas Chase with a brain tumor. When ambulance rides became too painful, his wife Suzanne applied for an appointment at a nearby Veterans Affairs hospital. A couple of weeks ago, Douglas finally received a response in the mail, requesting that he call for an appointment. The biggest problem? Douglas Chase passed away nearly two years ago.
