The Pentagon is demanding that nearly 10,000 soldiers in California pay back enlistment bonuses and other incentives years after they were given. For the soldiers, many of whom served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, the forced repayments are a slap in the face of their service and ruining lives of veterans and their families.
