Some go back out of curiosity, to see if they can find and identify specific pieces of ground where they had one of the most intense experiences of their lives. Some go back to remember those they lost. Some do so because they are still seeking closure about those traumatic experiences. And others would never entertain the idea of going back ever again, for lots of reasons.
