109 years of the Army Reserve
Posted on
There’s another military birthday to celebrate this week, this time– the United States Army Reserves which turns 109 this year.
Members of the Army Reserve play a critical role in military readiness. They maintain both a civilian life and a military life. They sacrifice time at work and time with family to train throughout the year so they’re ready when called upon.
Reservists have played an important role in wars in the Middle East, providing support to the regular Army in deployment in both Afghanistan and Iraq. They have maintained a level of excellence and readiness since their inception in 1908. Happy birthday to the Army Reserve and its members!
