U.S. Marines, Japanese forces conclude first Japan-based Iron Fist Exercise

Today, members of the Japan Self-Defense Force and U.S. Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit completed the first Japan-based Iron Fist exercise. Iron Fist is an annual exercise designed to increase interoperability and strengthen relationships between the U.S. Marine Corps, the U.S. Navy, the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
