To start off, sorry if this isn’t the place for this. My friend committed suicide a few months ago and he was AF. Everyone has been posting about his “work accident” that killed him, since he did it on base. I am just curious… how often does this happen and get swept under the rug as a another “accident”? It’s terrible he was suffering while he was alive and it seems even worse to try to hide it as a work related accident. Mental health needs to be taken more seriously and idk how that is going to happen if people just keep pretending this way…
