My old troop is currently tasked to deploy and just had her BOP assignment granted with a RNTLD for around the same timeframe as the deployment. Leadership is looking into a solution in hopes that she can keep her assignment. She knows and understands that the deployment takes precedence. Do you think her upcoming assignment will just be pushed for a later date when she returns from her deployment? Anyone have history with a similar situation? She is mil-to-mil …can he just go ahead of her and would that help her case since that unit needs him desperately. TYIA!!!
