Went to CIF today… Their floor was dusty. I, being the silly little goose I am, put my duffle filled with gear on the ground. A single piece of dead grass in the Velcro on my TAPs-dirty, clean it and come back. The duffle which accumulated dust from being on their own floor-dirty, clean it and bring it back. The ruck which had a camouflage pattern on it-dirty, clean it and bring it back.

MHS Genesis is working as expected

MHS genesis in my opinion is filtering out the riff raft and people who would end up getting out anyway on 100% disability after only a few years of service. MHS genesis is working for lower enlisted by shrinking the recruiting pool and therefore creating this panic for the upper brass. The worst it gets for them, the better it gets for us. Look at how many changes there have been for us since MHS...
Benning or Korea for family?

Long and short of it:
I am trying to train cardio at my workplace, which has a gym inside the building. I use my lunch break to work out, which is usually strength training in my ACU. I was going to train cardio on the treadmills, but they don't allow combat boots on the machines. Due to my limited break time, I don't...

You Can Wear Pin-on Badges with Sewn-on Nametape (in Garrison)
Posted on
Check DA PAM 670-1, 4-8, Page 7.
“Soldiers may wear pin-on badges with sewn-on nametape, U.S. Army tape, and grade insignia. Soldiers are not authorized to wear pinned-on badges in a field or deployed environment.”
And your PC doesn’t have to be sewn-on just because your uniform is:
“If a nametape, U.S. Army tape or grade insignia is sewn on, then personnel must sew all three of these items on...
