Like a ton of people have built fully automatic paintball turrets with motion and heat sensors..and these people are just rookies and even I can code one.

So why are they not used in real weapons? Like why isn't there automated turrets guarding high security areas like Area 51 or stuff like that? Is it a UN rule or something?
