I was at MEPS for the usual screenings. During my physical, the physician said I may have scoliosis. They sent me over to a nearby hospital for a same-day X-ray. I don't know the results of the x-ray, but I do know I'm going back to MEPS for a consult as soon as it is scheduled. If I do in fact have scoliosis, I will need a waiver. My question is, what is this process like? After the consult, will I have to repeat the medical screenings I've previously completed, or will I continue with the normal MEPS process?
