So at my annual PHA I finally brought up to my Doc some of the issues I have with breathing & sleeping and today after a couple sleep studies I got the offical diagnosis of Severe Sleep Apnea. Based on other cases, my PCM isnt talking about MED Board yet but I'm very scared that I wont respond to the CPAP/BIPAP treatment well enough just based on the last few sleep studies they've run.( I'm Aviation)

I just turned 29 and as vain as it sounds I dont like the idea of having to use a machine to sleep for the rest of my life.

I just feel like my self confidence took a kick in the teeth, and for the life of me I cant justify why it bugs me so much. Hence why im venting on reddit instead of manning up and telling anyone I know in person.
