I have served 9 years AD & I’m planning to go for 20. I want to transfer my GI benefits to my wife so she can use them for her masters at SNHU as a online student.

I heard that if you transfer your GI benefits to a dependent and they are utilized while you are still AD then your BAH is reduced, is that true?

Any other advice or tips relevant to this would be helpful!
