The story from the cockpit of Thunderbird 6 on 14 September 2003
Posted on
It was a day like many others. A beautiful blue sky and another opportunity to fly the amazing Red, White & Blue F-16 for the Air Force thunderbirds. Then, in 25.25 seconds, my world changed...from Fighter Pilot to Survivor. Now, 16 years after the most documented ejection in Air Force history, it is time to open up about what happened both on that day and in the days since. I have partnered with fellow fighter pilot & Cancer survivor Joel "Thor" Neeb to discuss our Survivor's Obligation. Please join us in this quest to #LiveIntentionally. [link] [comments] |
