Can a civilian submit weapon designs to the US military?
Posted on
I’ve tried looking into it but couldn’t find anything useful.
If the first question is possible, and the design is accepted what happens after that? Are there royalties? Do you have to sell the design to the military (if patented) How difficult is it for a design to get accepted?

How could the 2021 Afghanistan evacuation have been executed better?

Ignoring politics, if the 2021 Afghanistan evacuation had been redone from the very start, what could have been done differently to improve the overall situation? What other assets and resources could’ve been used? What about the sheer logistics of the evacuation itself?

Are there any paths in the military that allow me to train in the mountains full time?

To be clear, I understand that no matter the path within the military I know it won’t be fun. For context, I am 23, am in a very well finance job, but just can’t take corporate America anymore. Sitting behind a desk is absolutely miserable. I also think I have undiagnosed adhd which doesn’t help.
I do live in Colorado and in my free time I am an avid climber, hiker, backpacker, etc etc.

The U.S. plans to deploy an aircraft carrier, the USS America, while Japan would send one of its biggest warships, the helicopter carrier JS Izumo. The Royal Australian Navy would send its HMAS Canberra, which also carries helicopters.
