During basic at RTC(USN basic), we were drilling firearm turnover. I picked up a gun belt and put it on. I (24M) was stationed in Washington for three years and I was gaining weight and muscle like nothing. I was happy and motivated. They didn’t make us run everyday and wasn’t melting in the hot sun the whole day.

Now got stationed in Hawaii and it sucks here! They make us run 5 miles every morning alone with 12 mile ruck marches and have us in the sun all day long.

We go to the field nonstop back...
