Has any body left active duty only for their spouse to go active duty into a different branch? If so, what was that like?

I'm a Marine who got out this last year. My wife just recently enlisted into the Air Force. Unlike your average new dependa I feel like I have a pretty well rounded idea of military spouse life having been apart of it even if it was on the other side, as i was the enlisted one...

Wanted to save it, but it's been a while since I've seen it. It's a poster of the Chain of Command, which starts with

General

• Leaps tall buildings in a single bound

• Walks on water

• Faster than a speeding bullet

• Gives policy to God

and then goes on down the chain, getting progressively less impressive, ending in Sergeant, who is God

Just found it amusing and can't find it in a sea of normal chain...

I am currently in AFJROTC but I am leaning more towards the army I would like to be a Green Beret or at least a Ranger. Will I still receive the rank bonus after enlisting after completing AFJROTC and Leadership Camp if I enlist in the Army?
