Will be graduating with my bachelor's in the next year or so. I've always wanted to join the military and the GI bill/TA would help with my student loans. I already have my NREMT-P and want to continue with healthcare if I join.

That said, I'm ok with water but not a fan of living on a ship for months at a time so navy and CG aren't at the top of my list. That leaves army and air force. Obviously...

So I keep getting told you're signing your life away when you join the military, but by the sound of "dishonorably discharged", it sounds like you can just quit, but this'll be your label (please correct me if I'm wrong). How does it affect your life outside the military? Can you join the military again?
