Several articles about the fact they awarded a testing contract between 2020 and 2022, but no program name or updates seem to be available. I want to know if part of the reason the RM277 wasn't adopted was problems with the polymer ammunition.

I mean… in the old days it made sence - it is easy if both aiming and piloting is merged into one act. But in the age in which we can manufacture helmets that can track pilots eyeballs and point a gun in the direction where he is looking… i think it would make sence that pilot could point his gun in certain radius infront of him, rather than steer the entire jet into correct direction.

what i mean this missile basically track you like a normal fox 3 but switches to fox 2 when near enough or good tone and so you wont even know cause your rwr goes silent and yeah its dumb but imagine you tried to dodge a missile then you think its gone you get rear ended by a missile that turned into a fox 2 giving you no warning in a high stress situation. guaranteed hit mind games in the sky...

I'm a college sophomore and am considering the Navy NuPOC program. The money seems really good and it seems like a great opportunity, but I'm not sure if I want to commit to the navy yet. Any thoughts on the program?
