Single E-3 that currently lives off base. I'm a corpsman that works ward hours (12 hours 2 days on 3 days off then alternate). No chance of being deployed or going TAD. I have enough money saved up to get a dog I would like to know is it worth it. I'm currently stationed in Japan so the only thing I fear is when it's time to PCS how would I get it back to the states. My parents also agreed to keep it whenever I go to my next duty station so I know it would have a home. What are y'all thoughts? Should I reconsider?
