does anyone how what this means on my 2nd great Grandfather discharge paper? believe it says Str. Co. b. 2nd 113 D.B. Last served with A.M. 23nd Def?. 2nd D.W. his record got burned in the 1973 fire, so when i requested his records, they just had his final payroll Trying to rebuild his military file and learn more about him during his time in ww1 enlisted 7/20/ 1917 discharged 3/31/1919 according to a handwritten family member note, he was at the Battle of Verdun and Battle of Belleau Wood. i'm sure he could have been in other battles also. Boris Hulecki is my 2nd Great Grandfather. His Rank was Private, Company M, 23rd Infantry, 2nd Division, U.S. Army so not what this means on discharge paper . Co. b. 2nd 113 D.B. Last served with A.M. 23nd Def?. 2nd D.W. Also do you know where I might be able to find any of these possible records for him for ww1. Casualty Report, Morning Reports, ww1 award card, xc pension files, ww1 after action reports and unit histories. Thank you for all your help [link] [comments] |
