Onlyfans, and Active Duty..

I feel like even though Onlyfans is mainstreamed, its still technically within the realm of being private content obtainable through consensual means, like any nude photo you could send to another person. The obvious difference is people pay for these photos. Onlyfans also has policies and measures in place in order to prevent leaking of its users content; for example off the top of my head, if you attempt to screen shot or screen record with an iphone/android/laptop, the media will come out black-screened. Now obviously this doesn't prevent someone from just taking a photo with their phone of the content on their laptop, so leaking is definitely possible.
If you're in the military and you do make an Onlyfans, I would definitely advise against sharing it with people in your command. Lets say you did so anyway, the UCMJ doesn't necessarily cover the dynamics when it comes to this. Its not technically a 2nd job as you are selling your own product on your own time, and not hindering you from going to work when you need yo be there; So they can't hit you on that. And it is not at all illegal to take nude photos of yourself and share them with others that have permission. If they do not have permission, like lets say a subscriber steals your content from your page and posted it on Pxrnhub and that gets reported; at worst I imagine you will be advised to get rid of your Onlyfans for your own personal well-being ... that's about all that can legally happen, because it is not your fault that someone took your photos and shared it with other people against your will. Hell, someone could hack your phone and steal photos you never shared and spread it around if they were so determined.
If you're an officer it can be a different story though, I believe, however I don't necessarily agree with the argument that if a junior sailor happens to see your nudes, that the respect put into place will be "destroyed". If they ever respected you at all, then they wouldn't use it against you in the first place, nor would their outlook of you be changed negatively. If this really was a risk, then they don't need to subscribe to your Onlyfans at all for the "supposed loss of respect" to occur as they would already have an idea of what the content is. After they subscribe it is now THEIR responsibility to refrain from doing anything stupid like Marines United, and its because they clearly knew what they were getting into in the first place. If you knew your sister or your mother did porn or had an Onlyfans out there, would you go and confirm?? Who's really at fault there?
For those who don't know, Marines United was a website where a group of filthy marines would amass and post the nudes of female soldiers to share with each other. Well eventually the gig got shut down by NCIS and arrests were made for those involved, for obvious reasons.
Now I'm not saying it is appropriate for a junior sailor to ever see their COC nude, but then again they are adults, and obviously knew what they were paying for. It's on the internet but it is not available to everyone. So long as the individual doesn't have any military affiliation in their content, I see no harm there. And at this point, it would be all on the subscriber to make the connect between the person and the military and then to display it where all can see; a lot of effort on their part, but non-the less it would be their doing bringing any outside attention specifically to the military and its conduct, and "precious" image.
Military or not, we are all still human beings, and have personal interests and desires to be explored as we see fit. Taking nude photos of oneself is "discouraged" but not illegal, same as videos. Sharing either is also discouraged but not illegal for the obvious reason is that we all do it. Please don't try to say there are people who do not, lets be serious and honest here. If someone decides to share your stuff with the rest of the world without your permission, you are not liable and it should not hurt you since again, it wasn't your doing. Subscribers to Onlyfans are also (obviously) expected to have the same respect, whoever they are. If they do not, then they are the same as Marines United... you were the victim in this scenario.
I don't know if people will agree with me on this or not, but we cannot pretend that we don't have lives of our own, regardless if you're in the service or not. Being in or out should not dictate whether you decide to make Onlyfans or not. Work is work, personal life is whatever the fuck you can make it without also showing affiliation to the military, which typically isn't very hard. At the end of the day we all maintain a degree of a separate life from the military, and nothing can stop that. This isn't synonymous to actually doing porn for an industry, or just straight up making your own porn and uploading it to a site explicitly for porn, which Onlyfans is not. Thoughts, opinions?
All comments are welcome but please be respectful. Id like to hear more about how you think the military views the dynamic and legality as far as the UCMJ goes; grey areas and what not, more so than if you think its morally acceptable. Of course the worst case in this scenario is that the wrong people will discover your content, subscribe, and spread it with intentions to harm you; but I don't agree that it is your responsibility at that point.
