As someone who works in the MPF. I see the MPF as a daycare. Constantly having to hold hands for service members, civilians, dependents, and retirees. Constantly keeping a close eye on them and answering the same dumb questions. For example, "Did the DOD number change"?, well of course not dumba** since it's been with you since you joined. "I have an issue with my awards and decs, let me go to Customer Support to see if they can help". Majority of questions and procedures can be found online and are common sense.
