A bit of a weird one but here we are. I have tried to look online and see but have not found anything specific or exact.

So to make a long story short, I know a lot of ex-service personnel (friends and family) who I will be requesting to wear their old military uniforms to my wedding; It is my ONLY request for the entire event.

Somebody mentioned to me that in Northern Ireland they will need to ask for permission to wear their uniforms even though it will be a private event.

Can anybody enlighten me to if this is true or not or if there would be any legal backlash on them for doing so..

If I remember correctly it does mention needing permission for a public event? However I am not entirely sure anymore.
