My friend starts basic training in January and I'm looking for some tips on what kind of letter writing materials I should get her for Christmas. I planned to get her a set of 50 cards and envelopes, with stamps, a note card of addresses, and put it all in a small box for her to take. Would that work? Should I put it in something other than a small box?

Please let me know if this will work or not! I want to make sure I get everything right so she can take it with her.
