I don't think Israel should have accepted a ceasefire so quickly.

Hear me out, the reason why I am saying this is because Israel didn't fully destroyed Hamas and Hamas will just rebuild all the tunnels, bunkers and rockets again. This Ceasefire is just a temporary ceasefire, when Hamas would have enough rockets again, they will incite violence and then start to shoot more rockets into Israel. Now the Ceasefire agreement is good news for the civilians, but in the long run, things will escalate quickly again, more people would die. It would be way better if Israel accepted a ceasefire agreement only after confirming the destruction of Hamas as a whole. Because small conflicts like this will pile up more casualties over year than a single all out war.
Part of the reason is, Israel was being forced by international communities to stop it's bombardment. Now, Gaza is a mostly urban area, and if you somehow even manage to enter your troops, you will encounter a very bloody urban fighting, more soldiers will die. That's why they conducted airstrikes, but the problem with urban warfare is, protecting civilian lives is next to impossible and even if you notify people to leave a particular area, there is still chance that not all are able to leave the area in time. The West Bank people are slightly less extremist compared to people of Gaza, the terrorists intentionally use children and women as human shield so that whenever they are being attacked, civilians will die and the international community will blame Israel
