So you know how the military has numbered divisions for example 1st Division, 2nd Division, etc.
If there is a type in the middle say 1st Infantry Division, and then also a division called the 2nd Airborne Division.

Are all the divisions in the same kinda number order? Like is there a seperate 1st and 2nd Airborne Divisions, AND then a seperate 1st and 2nd Infantry Divisions, or are they all counted up in order regardless of the type? (1st Airborne, 2nd Infantry, 3rd Infantry, etc)
