What's up guys, I'm currently active duty but am coming up to the end of my term at the end of January. I'm saving up money and have a pretty solid plan of what's to come after my ETS. I'm planning on moving to a completely different city and starting college. I plan to pay bills with my goal amount of money until I start school in the spring and can start using my GI benefits. I've heard from friends who have ETS'd that GI money doesn't count as risdual income so I'm concerned as to how I can prove to a bank I'm eligible to lease a house or apartment? I've got a great credit score but once I'm no longer in I won't have that residual income unless it's something small like a part time job at night or something while I'm not in school. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's ever had this issue and any advice on what to do would help. Thanks!
