Soooo…a long time ago, we had a Damage Control Assistant (usually an O-2/O-3) whose wife was one of the physicians at the base clinic.

This was well-known to the crew.

The COB (Chief of the Boat) -aka- Command Sergeant Major or 1st Sergeant was from West Bygod somewhere.

COB has his 4-year (I think it was a quad exam)submarine physical done by Dr. DCA’s wife, which, at his ripe old age, included a prostate exam.

During the middle of said exam, with finger inserted, Dr. asks “hey COB, everything OK” - in response, he wiggles his ass back toward her and shouts “no problem ma’am, but back where I’m from, this means we’re hitched!!!”
