contemplating leaving my job to join the military.

hello, ive been doing a lot of thinking and am considering joining the military. When i was 18 i was going to join the army i had all the paper work filled out but then i had cold feet and didnt end up joining. ive do not regretted not joining but lately ive been thinkig maybe i should have. Im 22, have a good job making 28/hr, have a gf of 7 years, but im stuck on what i want to do for a living. my dad was in the army and ive always look up to him despite his recent bad choices hes made in life. i also hear that joining the military can put a strain on relationships. im also not in good shape but have been working on it these past 2 months. i have not done any college and my job is pretty good. i work 4 days a week and my job pays for health care. would it be worth losing my decent paying job to join the military? i would probably try for the airforce but if i dont make it i would follow my dads route and join the Army.
