are there any modern battles in the late 20th or 21st century, that are as famous or on the scale as battles that we had back in ww2 or even further back in the early ages, I mean everybody remembers and talks about the battle of midway, or when we stormed the beaches in Normandy in ww2. People even remember and talk about battles that happened centries ago like the war in troy, but will everybody remember things like the bin laden raid or dessert storm hundred or even thousands of years from now, like they remember the ww2 or even battles thousands of years ago.
